Hi all,

Well, I'm back sooner than expected. I just finished playing the demo for Carrie the Caregiver 3. I found out about it surfing on the net and it's on Shockwave. Anyway, I tried it out and it was quite fun. I've played all the demos for the Carrie games but haven't yet bought any of them, partly because of time but also because of money. lol

Well, I wondered if you all have tried out any Carrie games and if so, what do you think about them? Smile

@Talia:

Carrie the Caregiver is more of an arcade-type game like Diner Dash. Before I was into RPGs, I really liked (and still do like) arcade games. They require fast reflexes and all that. Sounds a bit boring but as long as the story is good, I'm willing to try it out.

There are a lot of copycat games out there nowadays. Ever since Diner Dash came out, a lot of game companies have tried to copy their style. Some of the games turn out all right while others are a bit of a disappointment. That's why I like to try out the free trials to see if the games are worth buying. Wink

I played Carrie the care giver 1, but never managed to finish it as the demo ended...even with Yahoo's 5 minutes "grace period", I couldn't get through one stage which needed a little over 5 minutes so I couldn never go pass it no matter how fast I was. I had not tried to newer sequels. Overall it was a fun game and I enjoyed myself while the fun lasted Smile I'm addicted to arcade games like Diner Dash, Nanny Mania (this one is easy) Cake Mania...other those mania-mania types...LOL...if I were any more obsessed over these games, my friends would start coming up with a diagnostic term of their own for it XD lol...

@ELIE:

lol I know what you mean. My dad wonders how I can be so addicted to these types of games. I'd buy more but then I remember that I can't be spending so much money on them. Razz

@Phoenixgirl
hehe...My parents will kill me with my nagging if they knew I spend a fortune on such things Razz They just don't see the point of buying and collecting stuff like these.

Between, what's the difference between the original version and its sequels? Any added features ? (other than more difficult and challenging levels and babies to care for)

@ELIE:

Let's see. In number two, Carrie has to take care of preschoolers and the ending is pretty sweet and cute. (I won't say what it is in case you haven't played it yet.) And in number three, Carrie is at a summer camp and she has to help the campers with arts and crafts projects. Smile

sounds good...I'll try the sequels as soon as I'm free from assignments and exams.

Coolie. I might end up buying it but I'm not entirely sure yet. There are so many time-mangement games that I want to buy. I've been trying them out left and right like crazy. Laughing
