Romance RP

(Back from work so I'll make this post now.  XD)

Ryan smiled softly and replied, "Thank you, my angel.  I'm happy to hear that you aren't planning to leave me.  It worried me before when you said otherwise but I'm glad that you changed your mind and that living is the better option."

(Welcome back and ok. XD)

Lycoris grinned and caressing Ryan's cheek lovingly, she replied,

"Of course I won't leave you. I want to live for so long, so many years with you. Just your presence is enough to have me going on and getting stronger, you know. Won't that make you happy enough? Won't I fill your life with happiness and joy?"

Ryan looked thoughtfully at Lycoris and nodding slowly, he replied,

"Perhaps.  You do make me very happy just being you and being your presence gives me joy."

Although Lycoris wasn't exactly satisfied with Ryan's answer, as she wanted him to be more confident answering that, she continued smiling lovingly and replied,

"See? We're everything to each other, aren't we? And just your presence is enough to make me quite happy as well, you know. You're my whole life."

Ryan smiled warmly at Lycoris and replied, "Thank you, my angel."

He hugged her and then as he gently stroked her hair, he asked,

"So I really am enough?  You wouldn't need anyone else?  Not even friends?"

Lycoris laid her head on Ryan's chest and replied happily,

"But you're my friends, my family and everything, you know. I just said you're everything to me, right? I meant that. I don't need or want anyone else as long as you can be with me."

Ryan didn't know what to say to that, as almost everyone needed to have some sort of family or friends.  But knowing that this Lycoris wouldn't be reasoned with easily, he nodded and replied,

"I'll always be with you, my angel.  I'm not going to leave you."

Lycoris hugged Ryan tightly and lovingly, replying,

"And that's all I want to hear. I couldn't imagine what could happen to me if you left me. My heart would be filled with nothing but darkness and anger without you."

Ryan returned Lycoris' hug and replied,

"I certainly can't let that happen now, can I?"

Just then, he wondered if that was how Lisianthus was feeling at the moment.  Was her heart filled with darkness and anger?  If so, he wished that he could do so something to heal it although the situation on his hands was quite complicated as it was.

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Surely you can't."

She broke the hug but remained cuddled close to Ryan, enjoying his warmth and closure as the two of them enjoyed the afternoon.

As Ryan realized the time, he asked,

"Angel, are you hungry?  It's about time for lunch although we did have those snacks so perhaps not?"

Lycoris looked thoughtful then replied,

"I am not exactly hungry but it's lunch time so maybe we can have a light lunch? A sandwich and some juice would be enough, right?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "Sure, that sounds good to me as well.  Would you like to have lunch out here since we're already outside and everything?  And would you like me to make it or have the head healer come out after he's done?"

Lycoris looked thoughtful for a moment then happily said,

"Let's go inside and make it together. I'd love to help you out. And we can come back here again to enjoy it in the fresh air. Does that sound good?"

Ryan looked thoughtful and replied, "I'm up for it if you are.  I don't want you to overexhaust yourself, though."

The puppies approached the couple but remembering how Lycoris had treated them earlier, Ryan looked at them kindly and said,

"Hey, boys, is it ok if you two stay out here with Robert while Lycoris and I prepare lunch?  We'll be back quickly and then we can enjoy it all together."

The puppies barked happily, seeming to agree with the idea.

Lycoris was glad that Ryan told the puppies to stay and happily said, "Hey, I told you I'm fine. I'm strong enough so let's go. I love working and cooking with you."

She then waited for him to help her up and lead the way to the kitchen. Although she did feel weak, she was determined to overcome it and be Ryan's equal.

Ryan got up and then helped Lycoris to her feet.  After scooping her in his arms, he led the way back inside the house and to the kitchen.  Once there, he placed Lycoris on her feet and said,

"I'll go take out the ingredients for the sandwiches and then we can get started."

He opened the icebox, taking out the ingredients needed for lunch.

Lycoris waited as Ryan took out the ingredients they need to make lunch, doing her best to remain composed and leaning on the kitchen's counter to keep her balance. After he took out all the ingredients, she happily said,

"Now show me what to do and I'll do exactly the same things."

Ryan nodded and waited until Lycoris activated her bracelet.  Then he showed her how to make the sandwich, putting the ingredients together.  He then said,

"I brought quite a few ingredients so you can decide what meat to put in it or none at all, if you prefer.  Of course, there are fresh lettuce and savory cheeses as well as a few sauces."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "There's really a lot of everything. Ok, let me choose."

She chose a few ingredients as she made her own sandwich and she was soon all done. She happily said, "This looks good, right?"

Ryan looked at the sandwich that Lycoris made and nodding, he replied,

"Yup, it looks tasty, my angel."

As Ryan had already finished making his lunch, he proceeded to take out a couple of bowls and pour puppy food and fresh water in them.  Then he placed everything on a large tray.  Taking out two glasses with straws, he asked,

"What juice would you like?  We could have apple again but there's also orange and grape juice as well as lemonade."

Lycoris looked thoughtful then replied,

"I don't think I tried grape juice before so let's have that. Is it as delicious as apple juice?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yup, I think so.  I think grape juice tastes a little sweeter than apple juice but that's my opinion."

He took out a pitcher of grape juice from the icebox and poured the juice into the glasses. After everything was all prepared, Ryan said,

"Let's take this outside.  Are you ok with holding on my arm and walking beside me as I carry the tray?  Or do you want me to carry you?  I can do that and then come back for the tray."

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Yup, I'm fine enough holding on to you. No worries-I'm ok."

She waited until Ryan had the tray in his arms and held on to him carefully, then waited for him to lead the way to outside.

Carrying the tray, Ryan walked slowly and carefully as he led the way out of the kitchen and then outside to where the couple had sat.  He placed the tray carefully on the ground and then helped Lycoris to sit down.  Then he placed the bowls of puppy food and water out for the puppies and laid the food out for the couple.  Almost forgetting something, he said,

"Ahh I should communicate with the head healer and let him know that we're going to have lunch so he should just go ahead and prepare his own without worrying about us.  Is that ok?  It won't take long."
